Payment & Insurance Rockville, MD

Dental Insurance

We will gladly file claims for all insurance companies to assist you in receiving your maximum benefits. The patient is, however, responsible for the cost of the treatment. Payment for service is requested at the time of treatment.

Please remember that insurance is considered a method of reimbursing the patient for fees paid to the doctor and is not a substitute for payment. Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible amount, co-insurance, or any other balance not paid for by your insurance company. You will be responsible for all collection costs, attorney fees, and court costs.

We will do our best to answer any questions that you may have about your insurance and do everything that we can to maximize your insurance benefits for you. However, you must understand that you are ultimately responsible for your account. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office within 90 days of the procedure regardless of your insurance coverage.

Most insurance companies will respond within 4 to 8 weeks. If you are interested in monthly payment plans, prior arrangements to the procedure must be accomplished.

* Please call our office for information about your insurance carrier and we will be happy to verify if we are a provider for their network. Most major PPO Dental Plans are accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Our office reserves all appointments specific to each patient’s dental needs. If you must change an appointment, please provide us at least 2 working days advanced notification so that we may use our time to accommodate other patients. Broken appointments within 48 hours will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Broken and missed appointments create scheduling problems for other patients and our practice. ***On the day of your appointment, we do understand that your time is just as important as ours, so we do our best to stay on schedule and minimize your wait time. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances may lengthen a procedure or emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these rare situations.***
